  Summer Project
    
 
Summer project is an essential part of the Post-Graduate course and is designed to make students understand the value of working and learning in an organization.  Students understand the value of working and learning in an organization.  Students are exposed to real life learning process.  The process is two-fold :
 
    
•
Helps students gain first-hand experience in a particular industry that provide them with ample opportunity to innovate, and add to ideas and techniques imbibed in the first year of PGDM.
   
•
It assists students in being more receptive to market needs, and in deciding their area of specialization in the second year.
   
 
The Institute views this as a valuable experience for the students as it not only enables them to gain first hand experience of working in particular organizations and industries, but also tests, validates and challenges the class room learning.
     
  Overall Purpose :
 
    
•
Assist students to enrich their understanding, knowledge, skills in the filed of management.
   
•
Provide insights to understand an organization and its realities better and thereby enhance one’s perspective.
   
•
Help them to indentify specific area / field of study and prepare a project report on the activity / task performed during their tenure of summer project.
   
 
The Summer Project Programme is designed in a way that it provides sufficient opportunity for both the Institute as well as the Company to nurture potential talent for future development.
   
 

The Summer Project is planned for 8 to 10 weeks, during the months of May and June at the end of the first year.
